Dear Visitor,
May we introduce ourselves: We are Karin and Wolli (Wolfgang), and we have both been collecting minerals since our childhood. We met at a mineral show in the mid-1990s, fell in love in the old underground mines of the Lavrion district in Greece, and married one year later, in 1997. Shortly after the marriage we bought an old farmhouse that provides plenty of space for our minerals.
Wolli started his career as mineral dealer in 1986: the specialties were and still are minerals from the Black Forest, Germany, the Lavrion district in Greece, as well as classic worldwide minerals and aesthetic specimens. Over the years he has written numerous articles in major mineral magazines about the minerals of Lavrion and the Black Forest. Wolli can pride himself to be the only author who has compiled two entire Lapis double issues: The first issue in 1999 about the Lavrion District, Greece, and the second issue in 2001 about Grube Clara in the Black Forest, Germany.

| We consider ourselves having one of the world’s best, and probably the most complete Lavrion mineral collections
-no slags- supergene minerals in superb condition. We self-collected almost half of the specimens in our collection in the old mines, underground labyrinths to 5 miles long. The remainder was purchased from miners, local collectors and dealers.
